Original April 1963 panoramic group photograph from the North High School Tour of ’63 in Washington, D.C. The students and chaperones are posed outdoors with the United States Capitol prominently visible in the background. The photograph is marked “Americana Tours” and was produced by Central Photo Co., 925 F Street N.W., Washington 4, D.C., a member of the National Association of Photographers.

The reverse is especially interesting, with handwritten identification of many of the people pictured, organized by front row girls, girls kneeling, and back row boys. A red Central Photo Co. stamp for ordering additional copies is also present.

A wonderful piece of authentic 1960s school, travel, Washington D.C., and American social-history ephemera.

Condition
Vintage condition with age-related wear, handling marks, small edge and corner imperfections, and scattered marks. The photograph was originally folded at the center, and approximately half of the center fold is separated/torn. The two halves remain attached along the remainder of the fold. Handwritten names and photographer/order stamp are present on the reverse. Please review photos carefully for condition.
