Antique framed Evangelical Lutheran Confirmation certificate commemorating the confirmation of Anna Margaret Kauffeld on May 28, 1882, at Zion Lutheran Church near Columbus, Ohio. The ornate black-and-white lithograph features detailed religious imagery, biblical scenes, and decorative Gothic-inspired artwork in a substantial antique wooden frame.
The frame has carved circular wood medallions at each corner, though three of the four decorative corner swirls are missing, as shown in the photos. The aged certificate displays beautiful patina and toning, making this an authentic piece of 19th-century religious history and Americana.
