Antique 19th Century White Clay Tobacco Pipe 3" Short Cutty Primitive Smoking Pipe

Antique white clay tobacco pipe featuring a small bowl, slender angled stem and molded construction with decorative impressions along the bowl seam. The thin, lightweight and delicate construction is characteristic of traditional clay smoking pipes produced during the 19th century.

The bowl is heavily darkened from apparent historic use, with additional age and use discoloration throughout. At approximately 3" long, this may have been made as a short cutty-style pipe or may have been shortened during its working life. A fascinating survivor for antique tobacco, primitive, archaeological or historical collections.
