Antique McKee Pres Cut Glass Oval Bowl – Hobstar Pattern – Sawtooth Edge – Early 1900s – Damage
This antique McKee Pres Cut glass oval bowl features the classic hobstar, fan, and crosshatched pattern with a scalloped sawtooth edge and integrated side handles. Marked “Pres Cut” in the center, it’s part of McKee’s early 1900s pressed cut glass line, designed to capture the sparkle of hand-cut American Brilliant Period crystal at a more accessible price.
Era: Early 1900s (c. 1904–1920s)
Maker: McKee Glass Company
Mark: “Pres Cut” in center
Material: Pressed glass
Design: Oval shape with hobstar, fan, and crosshatched motifs, scalloped sawtooth rim, integrated side handles
Size: Approx. 8 in long x 4 in wide x 2 in tall
Condition: Pre-owned antique; four damaged points on the sawtooth edge, minor surface wear from age, no cracks. Despite the edge flaws, the pattern remains crisp, the glass sparkles, and it still displays beautifully
Great for display in a china cabinet, as a photography or stage prop, or for creative repurposing in shabby chic, farmhouse, or vintage-style décor
