Vintage 1930s Stay-Hot Art Deco Chrome Insulated Teapot Stoke on Trent England
Vintage 1930s Stay-Hot insulated teapot featuring a white glazed ceramic teapot enclosed in a spherical chrome-plated warming jacket. The hinged metal shell is lined with original rust orange felt insulation designed to keep the tea hot. Marked Stay-Hot, Patent No. 433597 and Made in Stoke on Trent. An unusual and functional piece of British Art Deco design.
Condition Good antique condition with age-related scratches, clouding, oxidation, tarnish and plating wear to the metal exterior. Felt lining shows wear and soiling. Ceramic shows light surface wear. Original ceramic lid, insulated shell, lining and hardware are present. Please review photos carefully for condition.
