This vintage Atlanta wall clock features a 7-jewel, 8-day wind-up movement made in Western Germany by F. Mauthe, a respected German clockmaker. The clock has a striking nautical-inspired design with a rope-wrapped case and hanger, brass accents, and a glass-covered dial. Roman numerals and gold-tone hands complete the classic mid-century look.

The dial is marked “Atlanta” with 7 Jewels – 8 Days, and the back brass plate is stamped F. Mauthe Germany, confirming the movement’s maker. This is a mechanical, key-wind clock (not battery operated). It currently appears to have been overwound and is untested, but remains an excellent decorative piece for vintage, nautical, or mid-century interiors.
