Large, substantial decorative curtain tieback featuring an elaborate burgundy and antique gold passementerie design. The oversized tassel has a padded sculptural body wrapped and embellished with braided cord, scrolling appliqué and gold cordwork, finished with a very full long fringe skirt and heavy twisted hanging cord.

This is an especially dramatic, heavy-quality tieback rather than the smaller lightweight tassels commonly used on modern drapery. Condition
